(Detroit.CityRegions.Com, January 01, 2015 ) Clarkston, MI -- “The small and medium sized business owner can’t get money from the banks nowadays, and that’s very unfortunate,” says Turner. Wayne attributes this to the fact that banks are under so much scrutiny after the crash of 2008 that they only lend to businesses that have substantial cash flows and assets & don’t really need outside capital.
WTG Capital will help fill that void by obtaining working capital and small business lending sources for businesses all over the country and especially for the business owners in Turner's home state of Michigan. “We’re going to take an approach that’s unheard of right now, that being one of helping the business by finding ways to say yes, instead of saying no,” Wayne continues. “First we’ll get them the working capital they need. Second we’ll work with them to save money in their business by taking a consultative approach to see where they are over-extended or being overcharged for business services. And third, we’ll help educate them as to why they weren’t able to get a loan with their bank, and then work with them so that they will meet the stringent traditional banking standards for borrowing in the future.
“My network of financial institutions have all been supportive in helping me fill this need in the community, because quite frankly most bankers know that their hands are tied. They are limited in what they can do, but they still want to be able to maintain a relationship with the small business owner. I maintain relationships with bankers as an advocate; so that the business owner can eventually build their own relationships with the banks. Our business bankers know, that as soon as they return a denial on a loan, they should give me a call and I’ll go to work for the small business lending client immediately.”
About Wayne Turner and WTG Capital:
Wayne was forced to shut down the Wayne Turner Financial Group in 2011 following a devastating fire that totally destroyed his offices followed by his diagnosis of a severe case of Lymphoma. He then went through two years of extreme chemotherapy in order to survive which left him with a severely compromised immune system. Three years later, with permanent damage to his immune system and scarring from radiation treatments, Turner has been able to beat the odds and stay alive. He believes he is alive in order to help others and help them to learn from his trials, and sees this as his second chance at life.
